From bold beginnings in 2006 to becoming a trusted industry name, Quantem celebrates two decades of innovation, independence, and impact.

Twenty years ago, four quantity surveyors made a decision that would challenge the conventions of their industry. Leaving established consultancy Davis Langdon behind to become the original “spin-off”, they set out with a clear ambition: to build something different – a nimble, senior led independent cost consultancy that could rival the global giants.
At the time, the idea of a small, specialist start-up taking on well-established international firms was almost unheard of. But Quantem wasn’t built to follow the traditional path. It was created to question it.
Founded in 2006, Quantem quickly established itself as a fresh voice in the market, one that combined deep expertise with a more agile, client-focused approach. What began as a bold move by four individuals has grown into a respected consultancy, known for delivering intelligent, forward-thinking solutions across a diverse range of projects and sectors.
Over the past two decades, Quantem has grown from a bold start-up into a respected industry name, broadening its expertise and reach while maintaining a distinctly independent mindset. Quantem has supported everything from small refurbishments on our door step to major developments around the world and has a built a strong team up, many of whom have been with Quantem from the start.
