Climate change is one of most important issues caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions, specifically carbon. Quantem have our own Net Zero Carbon plan and support our clients to drive the carbon in their projects down.

A Whole Life Carbon Assessment (WLCA) is used to calculate the carbon impacts within the whole life of any built asset. While an Embodied Carbon Assessment (ECA) only captures the carbon associated with the construction of an asset.
Quantem undertake the Assessment using a third-party software, known as One Click LCA, in conjunction with our structured cost plans.

We generate quantities to calculate cost and can also use these quantities to assess the carbon associated with a development or design alternatives. We can quickly and efficiently provide information on where to reduce carbon and the impact of change to both carbon and cost.
