Roots in the Sky Shortlisted at MIPIM Awards

Congratulations to our friends at Fabrix for the shortlisting of their development ‘Roots In The Sky’ which has been nominated for Best New Development at the MIPIM Awards 2023.

The Roots in the Sky scheme is a 415,000 sq ft mixed-use development with full basebuild MEP and CAT A works, as well as an ‘Internal street’ connecting the ground floor to the external urban environment with dedicated pop up retail enterprise zones.

The project is investing heavily in sustainability, with a one acre roof top ‘urban forest’ – composed of 100+ trees, log piles, nesting boxes and composting facilities – contributing to the schemes BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certification targets.

Quantem are very proud to be providing cost consultancy services on this award nominated scheme. We have our fingers crossed for the win and look forward to celebrating with Fabrix at MIPIM in March, regardless of the result!
